For the war you'd either take ascalon/knight bootsies or an ascalon helm, for that -2 dmg reduction.

Chainmail helm looks best on a female warrior, so do chainmail leggins, too bad chainmail set is not max.

I would say all armor is nice on Female Warrior even presearing ringmail/When it come to the higher levels I would say Knights and gladiators or combine them.I have and mine are all Droks .Platemail is not that bad without the halmet.
